Sandy Fagan: Women 30-45

Wow, when I look back 12 weeks to the person I was, I don’t even recognize her any more. She had a smile on her face, but she was self-conscious, had low self-esteem, hid behind baggy clothes and was ashamed and defeated. She hated it when her picture was taken, and she always asked her friends to crop pictures so her stomach didn’t show. But, that insecure, self-deprecating girl with a negative attitude is gone.

The 12-week Body-for-LIFE Challenge has completely changed me from the inside out. I am confident, I am strong (mentally and physically), I am a runner (it took me a long time to say that), and I feel like I can accomplish anything I set my mind to. I was recently approached about an entrepreneurial opportunity, and I jumped at it. The old me wouldn’t have had the confidence to do that. I can happily say that that opportunity is serving me well, and I attribute that to having a positive attitude and surrounding myself with positive people. In addition, I am very proud of setting a good example to my children about the importance of healthy eating and exercising, and I love when they exercise with me. My whole outlook on life has changed. My self-esteem and self-respect are that of a woman who knows that I’ve only got one life and one body to live it in, and I need to treat it right. My beautiful children, my loving husband, my family and a newfound respect for me are why I’m keeping this Body-for-LIFE! Thank you for helping me on my wonderful transformational journey!
