I have been in good shape all my life. I was an athlete and then a coach, so physical fitness has always been a large part of my life. I am an active person who enjoys the outdoors and I live an active lifestyle. I guess that is why I didn't notice my physical condition deteriorating. I was always the in-shape guy! I wasn't someone who needed to "get into shape!" Until I was.

One day I was out with my sons working and I just got really fatigued way too quickly. As I thought about it, I realized that I had been getting tired easily and had been lacking in energy for quite some time. I had been blaming it on getting older, but suddenly I realized that it was much more than that. I knew I needed to do something.

That night, I took a good look into the mirror and was disgusted by what I saw. I have no idea how I couldn't see it before, but I was seeing it now. My eyes were suddenly opened to the fact that I was completely out of shape physically, and needed to make a drastic change to get my life back on track. I lost over 40lbs of fat, and I feel better than I have felt in years! Now my kids have trouble keeping up with ME! Oh, I'm not finished- I still have more fat to lose and muscle to gain.
