Before we started on the Body-for-LIFE program, we tried starving ourselves and over-exercising. Most diets only offered temporary results and were short-term. In addition, the diets lead to self-sabotage, unhappiness, and a path to the typical yo-yo dieting. It is a vicious circle, like being on a merry-go-round and never learning how to get off. It wasn’t until we discovered your program that we learned how to get off the merry-go-round. It taught us that we must set obtainable short- and long-terms goals in order to challenge ourselves and make our dreams become a reality.
The Body-for-LIFE program provided us with a focal point and positive affirmations that other programs lacked. We started to believe that we have the abilities to achieve the goals we set for ourselves, which allowed us to feel so much better physically, emotionally and spiritually. It helped us to build healthier habits, translating into a lifetime of health and fitness! Furthermore, it provided us with just that – an easy-to-follow step-by-step plan allowing us to make simple changes, one at a time, in order to lose weight and exceed the expectations we set for ourselves when we took the Challenge.
What made it even simpler are the EAS (Myoplex) shakes, with 42 grams of high-quality protein and the EAS Lean 15 Protein powder, with its low calories and high protein. We probably would not have finished the Challenge without the two or three shakes that we each consumed daily. In addition to the easy, fast and convenient preparation of these shakes, we were able to get all the essential vitamins and minerals for our daily needs. We finally found the “Magic Pill” that we have struggled to unearth in our previous attempts to lose weight and keep it off, creating the lean and healthy body we so much desired.
When we started the Body-for-LIFE program, we were skeptical! As the weeks passed by, and with our newly gained knowledge (attained from the Body-for-LIFE book and EAS website, consisting of weekly challenge tips, motivational tips and a library of nutritional information and even meal plans), it became apparent that the changes were indeed coming alive. As we met our goals, we could never believe that such changes were possible. Not only did we meet our goals, but we exceeded them as the 12-week period passed. It motivated us even more hearing our family members, friends and colleagues at work commenting on how great we looked. Our energy level is at an all-time high.
As for our future plans, we want to share the new “us” with others—leading by example to help those struggling with losing weight to gain the knowledge we acquired by following the Body-for-LIFE program.
