Lynn Oglesby: 2002 Champion

Lynn wanted to gain confidence, self-esteem and live a healthier lifestyle, but most of all she wanted to wear a sweatshirt her grandson had given her that read, "World’s Coolest Nana." With the help of Body-for-LIFE and a positive self-image, Lynn made it happen. Before the Challenge Lynn weighed 171 pounds with 28 percent body fat. Now, two and a half years later, Lynn weighs 148 pounds with 13.5 percent body fat. "Through self-discipline I have been able to sustain my healthy and fit physique by pre-planning my meals and setting aside time to work out," Lynn says. "Body-for-LIFE has literally handed me back my confidence and self-esteem. I am now sporting that two-piece bathing suit (something I haven’t done in 30 years), and I wear with pride my "World’s Coolest Nana" sweatshirt."
