Tracy Jeffries: 2002 Champion

After having her third child, Tracy lacked the strength and energy that she once had, and she wanted it back. She started the Body-for-LIFE Challenge and found the energy to give it 100 percent. "I found writing in my journal on a daily basis was critical, and writing down my exercises, what I ate, what supplements I took and how I felt each day kept me accountable," Tracy says. "Taking pictures every four weeks helped me see my progress and be able to keep going. This lifestyle has empowered me to become the person that I am supposed to be. I now have the confidence, energy and desire to help others be healthy and live a happy life. And because Body-for-LIFE is genuinely a program for life, I will be able to continue living this lifestyle and teach others how to live it as well." When Tracy started the Challenge she weighed 137 pounds with 21.6 percent body fat. Now, two and a half years later, Tracy weighs 120 pounds with 14.8 percent body fat. "I feel so proud of my success," Tracy says. "To be a role model of a program that changes a person’s life in every aspect is fulfilling."
