Jerry Braam
|
 Jerry Braam was almost 40 years old and out of shape. A recent check-up confirmed Braam was not exactly the picture of health. His resting heart rate was 90 beats per minute and his body fat percentage was 30.6 percent. His doctor said he was in poor physical shape for someone his age.
Jerry had heard about Body-for-LIFE and knew it was the right time to change his bad eating and exercise habits.
Today, Jerry is breathing easier. He improved his resting heart rate from 90 to 60 beats per minute, decreased his body fat percentage from 30.6 percent to 9.9 percent and gained half of an inch in height from improved posture. Jerry not only has a new, healthier physique, but also a whole new outlook on life.
"I face each day with anticipation, and the body I see in my mirror tells me I will succeed, even when others think things can only get worse," Jerry says. "Now that I am centered, I am able to give freely and it is an incredible feeling."
Through his great success with the Body-for-LIFE Challenge and continued efforts in helping others, Jerry is encouraging others in his community to take the Challenge.
