Tom Archipley never felt the confidence he needed to succeed. Out of fear of failure, he often didn’t start projects because he thought he might fail. Thomas learned about and decided to take on a tough challenge for the first time in years. After 12 weeks on the Body-forLIFE Program, Archipley’s physical changes were obvious. He had become lean and muscular. But that wasn’t his biggest accomplishment, according to his friends and family, who said it was the positive changes in Tom’s spirit and attitude that was most impressive.
"The Challenge has made me a better person," Tom says. "By confronting my fear of failure and changing my habits and outlook, I have developed my character along with my body and health."
Archipley is passionate about the program, he encourages his friends and family to take the Challenge. He helped his mom get started and she lost 15 pounds of fat. "I get energized sharing my story with them, answering their questions and helping them get started with their own transformations," Tom says. "I got more out of the program than I put in to it. My momentum made things happen that I never expected."
Five years after winning the Challenge, Tom still lives the lifestyle and remains in excellent shape.
