Phil Glorioso had had enough and was no longer going to settle for less than what he was capable of. Having previously completed the Challenge, he entered again with new strategies. First, he used his past experience in the Challenge to foresee possible obstacles, which allowed him to plan in advance to overcome the issues. Second, he had a friend join him and together they started down a path of reclaiming their self-esteem and confidence. However, a great thing happened on the way. While Glorioso served as a mentor and role model, he became more motivated in his own workouts by seeing his friend succeed under his tutelage. As a result of his dedication and strategy, he lost 35 pounds, dropped his body fat 11 points and went down five pant sizes.
