Steak and Vegetable Kabobs

  • 1 pound boneless sirloin steak, trimmed and cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 8 (1 inch) pieces yellow, orange or green bell pepper (about 1 pepper)
  • 8 small mushrooms
  • 8 cherry tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • Cooking spray


Divide pieces of meat and vegetables evenly among four skewers. Sprinkle with salt, garlic powder and pepper. Grill about 10 minutes, or until cooked to your liking, turning once. If you’d like to broil these instead, preheat broiler, place on a broiler pan coated with cooking spray and broil 10 minutes or until done. Serve with a serving of cooked brown rice.
