My husband and I are starting BFL today! We're so excited to start feeling more energetic and looking our best. However, I'm in the final three weeks of training for a half marathon. My running days fall on the three cardio days for BFL, so I'll be doing my runs instead of the 20-minute cardio...

Back on track after 10 years!

In 1999, my new year's resolution was "go to the gym and get fit". Hubby then dragged me to Healthy Life where the gorgeous girl who managed it (can't remember her name now) pulled out Bill Phillips' book "Body For Life" and showed me a picture on the jacket of a girl...

I need to write about this to get it off my chest so I can move on from the "Stinking thinking" and be success oriented. Yesterday I was talking to my husband about how a lot of females don't see huge changes until week 8 or 9 in BFL. I'm in the tail end of C1W6 and I've begun...

I am from Australia and decided to start my challenge 3 weeks ago (began 11th Feb 2011) in order to get my body in order for a big summer trip to Europe leaving May 31st. I am lucky in a sense as I have a trainer helping me through it as she knows the program well and is taking measurements etc. I am...

Hey Guys I just want to encourage you all. I am a from Humble Texas and I started the challenge on March 7th. I started at 247 pounds and around 30% body fat. I was so tired and disgusted with my life, I was stuck in a rut. That all changed when I recently went on a trip to India. The people are so poor...

On Monday I will start my 9th week. I have some questions on my meal plan. Up until today I have not counted any calories, fat etc. I have only been controlling my portion sizes and eating clean.
