Time for a change! (How can you expect different results when you keep doing the same things?)

  • Today (04/26/2010) I began the Body For Life program.  I've tried to complete the program several times over the past 8 years without much success.  I usually get several weeks into the program and something gets in the way.  It's time for a change.   This time I will succeed!  I began walking on a daily basis and watching what I eat 4 months ago when my wife of 12 years left me.  We are now going through a divorce.  I've been successful with the walking program and I've gone from 347 pounds to 305 pounds today.  However due to the weight loss everything is sagging and I'm just a smaller size person but the body shape is the same.  With the BFL program I plan to change all that.

If there is anyone out there who completed the program at a starting weight over 300 pounds I would appreciate hearing about your success.

  • Patience is your friend Senei Russ.   Your skin will take time to tighten back up and for me, my thighs are just not doing it.  But that's ok, I don't mind wearing capri's.

I will say that I credit the BFL program for keeping the loose skin  reasonably in check espeically in the upper arm chest and back.  I have taken my time, put forth the effort and if loose sagging skin on top of a kick @$$ healthy body is what I have, then show me the muscle.
