Anyone started September 2 (today)?

  • It might be tough since holiday is Monday! Picnics, etc. but....let's do it! Summer vacations are over! 

  • I started today. I had a great day and am totally on board. 83 days to go :)

  • I started on the 2nd as well - although the long-weekend wasn't the best time to start, it was the last day to start this challenge.  I've lost about 50 pounds over the past year and a half, but I've plateaud a bit and thought this challenge would be a great way to refocus and really set some concrete goals.

  • I started on Sept 2. I have about 20lbs to lose! Made it through the holiday and still PUMPED!

  • Hello all!  I started on September 2nd also!  Today is the start of week 3!  How is everyone holding up?  I have lost 10 lbs so far.  I know it will slow down soon, but it is some nice motivation!!  

  • Nice work jenmarie.  I also started on the 2nd and I'm down 15 pounds at this point, but I too expect that to slow down now.  So far I've been able to make it to the gym 6 days both weeks and so far my only cheats are 3 light beer.  Good luck the rest of the way.

  • Wow 15 lbs in three weeks that is fantastic, I must be dong something  wrong because Im three weeks in and maybe Ive only lost  5lbs, may I ask what are you doing for cardio?

  • For cardio I do 15 minutes of running 4 days a week before workouts and then I run for about an hour 2 days a week.  On top of the workouts I play recreational sports 2 times a week.  I've been extremely strict with my diet and eat 5 times a day, every 2.5 hours - eating lots of vegatables, a little bit of fruit, protein shakes and lots of natural protein (chicken and fish).  I've pretty much limited my carbs to brown rice, quinoa and couscous.  As I indicated, I suspect my weight loss will balance out now to a couple of pounds a week and obviously everyone will lose at a different rate.
