Does anyone know how to make pudding from the Myoplex Lite??
I don't, at least not so it taste good. It tasted terrible to me.
Love you some you...PERSEVERE!
I usually mix 1 scoop of my protein powder with some no/low fat greek yoghurt. Also sometimes put some almonds with that. Adjust the amount of powder to taste. :)
Upward and onward. It can only get better!
I just add enough water to make it thick and eat like that. :)
This is the recipe for the Protein Pudding on the BFL site:
* 1 box fat-free, sugar-free chocolate or vanilla pudding
* 2 cups skim milk
* 2 scoops chocolate or vanilla whey protein
Mix all ingredients in a blender for 45 seconds and pour into two small bowls. Serves 2.
-I made this with Banana Cream pudding and chocolate pudding. It is really good!
-I think the serving size could be cut down a bit though, it was a lot to eat.
-Also I refrigerated it after making it to let it set up more.
Hope this helps. :)
The recipe above is GREAT! I had some last night after my UB workout!
I use Almond mild and 1/4 cup of oats---I look forward to this EVERY night!
I am not getting any younger so I need to be my BEST TODAY!
In the eating for life book, it says that using 1 cup of fat free milk, 1 packet of chocolate myoplex lite (I assume you can use your own protein powder) and 2 tbsp of sugar-free chocolate pudding mix makes 2 portions.
In addition, they give a great recipe for a fortified fudgesicle. Servings 6. Ingredients: 1/2 cup fat free evaporated milk, 1.5 cups low fat cottage cheese, 1 package fat free sugar free chocolate instant pudding. 1. milk and cottage cheese in blender until smooth 2.add pudding and blend until smooth and creamy (appx 45 seconds) 3. Spoon into moulds or use paper cups with a wooden stick. Freeze and enjoy!
Why not just eat Jello sugar free dark chocolate(my favorite) with a EAS AdvantEDGE carb control for a chaser.Both taste great.
our new full meal deal!
We LOVE the puddings!
But Kingram is right, 2 servings per batch is A LOT! It made me sick to my stomach after I ate it the first time. Now I use three scoops of protein powder and divide it into 4 containers. Since both my hubby and I are on BFL and the puddings last for a few days, I make several batches of different flavors at a time. I eat my one a day as my meal between lunch and dinner. It's just the right size to curb hunger and totally cures my sweet tooth! Here are some of the flavors we have made.
-Chocolate Pistachio (2 scoops chocolate and 1 scoop vanilla protein with pistachio pudding)
-Chocolate Mint (chocolate protein with 1/2 Tbsp mint extract)
-Butterscotch (vanilla protein)
-Banana Cream (vanilla protein)
-Vanilla (vanilla with 1/2 Tbsp almond extract)
I have also added the FF/SF pudding to cottage cheese with successful results. My hubby HATES cottage cheese so I add 8 g, 1/4 of the box, of the banana cream or butterscotch pudding mix to a serving of cottage cheese. It completely takes out the bitterness and thickens it up to feel like a dessert. He has learned to tolerate cottage cheese this way. :)
Great idea for the cottage cheese...I don't like cottage cheese either and that might be a good transition step! I think I'll try it tomorrow.
FYI: If anyone is considering freezing shakes, the freezing detiorates the protien per BFL.
I like the chaser Idea.. can we do that? lol
