One of the things I hear people say about doing the challenge is that you need inspiration, or a reason, to push through the challenge. Some it's family, to have a better life, or maybe a little bit of many things. I actually have two buffs, and a bandana that symbolize why I'm doing the challenge.
A Survivor Buff: Symbolizes that I'm doing this for myself, so I can live a long, healthy life, without limits of obesity.
A simple grey biff: Symbolizes that I'm doing this so that I can be a better leader when needed. After all, how can I lead others if I can't even lead myself to make good choices.
A purple bandana: Symbolizes that I'm doing this for my family. A lot of my close to home family is obese, and I'm hoping that through my hard work I might inspire my family, and others, to make a change to improve their lives.
What inspires you?
What inspires me...
Having the ability to look in to the eyes of an obese person and be able to say "I've been where you are and I know that it can be done".
