I began a cycle back in Feb and crashed like the titanic. I want to start again but do I have to wait until the June date?

NO! You do not have to wait.
The dates are only so that EAS can organize the rounds. There is never a time when they are not accepting packets. If you miss the cutoff by 1 day then they just put you to the next round.
Think of it like rolling admission to college. :)
