Pickle....thanks for that info...if anything i will just cut out the peanut butter all together im not even that fond of it anyway so it wont be problem. i'll find other healthier and less fatening alternatives....thanks so much for the heads up.
also, where can i find what my daily intake should be of fat and carbs and protein...you seem to have it all down to a T and i would like to get better aquainted with what my body needs and doesnt need.
((GOOD MORNING JEN!))
Emily Alvers site under her blog....there's a ton of info. there. She's a past champion. She's even got a 4 week meal plan for fat loss there that is BFL style. (One meal plan for women and another for men.) She splits her meals into 5, which I may try one of these days. I actually emailed her yesterday, (she answers folks q's on her site) and asked her some of my questions about total calorie intake for my size and a few other little things. We'll see if she has time to respond to me! You can just google her name and her site will pop up first, then go into her blog: a wealth of info.
fantastic on the 3 lbs.! I wasn't going to weigh myself until 2 weeks in, but now, I think that just knowing how each week is going will be good motivation for me to stick with it...Looking forward to that on Monday morning!
PICKLE!!!!! hope your feeling as good as i am for Day 3...its funny how evey morning i look forward to actually completing another day of this challenge...its like a mini rush :) and as you had mentioned on the All Aboard forum...yeah it probably is pretty much water weight, but its a good start and booster to keep me motiviated....im not gonna weigh again until Monday and then from there on keep doing it on a weekly basis...i used to weigh myself every day out of habit but not anymore...i want to be excisted when i see the results....also...thanks for the tip on visiting Emly's site...i will definately look at that today..
Had a high-powered LBWO this morning, albeit a learning session, so the next time will be more fine tuned. But I hit 10's!
No ridiculously detailed nutrition run-down tonight. I've got Chemistry to do and I'm trying to hit my last goal for the day...IN bed by 9:30!
My macros for the day though were: 1483 calories, 27g fat, 160g cho, and 158g protein
About 16% fat and the same 42% each for the cho and pro.
A big long day away from the house tomorrow...early workout and taking food to go!
8/25
Great HIIT Run this morning...there's nothing like starting the day with running as fast as I possibly can while the sun is rising! Makes the rest of the day feel like a breeze!
Macros today: 1549 calories= 31g fat, 156g carbs, 158g protein
I was gone today from 9 a.m. till 7 p.m. and took my food for all day. It's such a relief to have the food thing all taken care of so I don't have to think about it! My one hour planning and journaling session every night is really paying off in more head space for me to think about other things throughout the rest of my day....
8/26 Day 5
Stuck to it today amid massive temptations....we're having a memorial service at our house this weekend and the food is roooollllling in. Luckily I'm staying at a friend's house the next two nights so family can stay in my room....(it's my housemate's mother who passed...she was a retired Buddhist priest who I caregave for and there will be lots of folks from all over there tomorrow). I've packed my food with me for the evening and am sitting in a coffee shop doing my homework. (Ignoring those delectable brownies and cookies freshly made here.)
Tomorrow I'll be at the memorial all day and will take my free day. But I'm going to keep myself in check. I have my eye on the one treat I want to have and besides that I'm going to stick to my 6 small meals.
I really wanted to go for a 5 mile run tomorrow morning, but have to be there early to park folks and don't know if I can fit it in. It's my free day and I love those long, (and slow) jogs.
My macros for the day:
1370 calories: 23g fat, 146g cho, 150g cho
Great upper body workout this morning. I've got the success journal and I take it to the gym with me and log my workout in it as I go. So my WO's are "by the book".
I'll probably take the day off from logging anything here tomorrow since I won't have my computer available.
Gloria in Excelsis Deo!
Well, I think I'm over posting daily! I've gotten a good idea of where I need to be regarding my daily nutrition intake. I'll see how it goes this week without posting it. If I need help with accountability, then maybe I'll start again. Probably will post the amount of weight lost after week 2 and every 2 weeks after that. Hopefully I"ll post some better pictures along the way too!
