Hi Point Weight Fluctuation
Change4Better
Hi Everyone, I noticed in Bill Philips' book that when it is time to reach level 9, he substantially decreases the weight, then decreases it again for level 10. My questions are: 1- Is this a coincidence or this is how it should be? 2- What happens if I increase the weight at level 9 then...

Chest and Shoulders Stretching Exercises for fellow beginners
Change4Better
I wasn't aware that we were supposed to use the same weight used at level 7 for level 9 repetitions ( I asked and a fellow BFLers told me on here). I hit the gym yesterday doing as told and I was terribly sore. I was not aware there are any chest stretch exercises. But today I felt my chest muscles...

HIIT Swimming Routine?
andini
I am currently injured - stress fracture on my ankle - and can only bike and swim for cardio. I am starting BFL tomorrow (wish me luck!) and was wondering if anyone has done a swimming HIIT routine.... I am not sure how to do HIIT in the pool (and p.s. I am not a very strong swimmer). Anyway, any advice...

Do weights trump cardio?
KcarBanff
This question relates to an earlier post concerning missing a gym day. If I miss a strength-training day is it better to forget about it and do cardio the following day, or do 2 days of strength training in a row to make up for the missed day? I thought the whole point of B4L's gym routine...

Antinous
I notice that EAS have not put up official challeng dates for 2011 yet on the site. Does that mean no official challenge for this year? Seems so odd not to have put something up as I imagine a lot of people post hangover will be looking for this site and details...

Lifting Weights - Toning vs Gaining Muscle Question
betty_stewart
I've always been naturually strong for a girl and I have a pretty big build without my added fat weight. I am looking to tone muscle instead of gain, but I'm only on week 2 and lifting large amounts of weight. Do I keep my my weights the same, because I don't think I will hit my 10 if I keep...

New to BFL and slightly confused on weights/sets/reps
Rook20171
Hello all: I am new to BFL; just started day 1 today and I'm excited about the challenge. I'm not necessarily "new" to the gym, but I've never been consistent. I understand the set/rep/intensity schedule, but I'm a little confused if I should be selecting a single weight...

Same Exercise?
Sammee
This question if for the BFL veterns. For the duration of BLF, do you do the same exercise every time? For example, on the upper body days for the chest muscle group, do you do dumbbell bench press for the first 5 sets, then dumbbell flye for the last intense set, every time you do an upper body day...
