Muscle Soreness Gone??????
Ken1st
I have a quick question for all those who have completed challenges in the past... The first couple weeks after working out, my muscles would be so sore I could hardly function. However, now even after an intense workout, where I hit my 10's will full force, I have very little muscle soreness...

Soreness

Last week was my first week. My legs were so sore by Friday that I could barely walk. I did not go to the gym Friday, Sat. or Sun. I went back today (lower body day) and had a great workout. I am worried that with two lower body days this week and the aerobics, that I may end up in the same situation...

Efforts noticed in the gym

I just wanted to share this story with everyone... I was just starting my LBWO this morning -- doing squats on the smith machine -- when an older gentleman approached me. He's about 75 or so and fit as a fiddle, a real Jack Lalanne type. I see him in the weight room every time I do weights...

If anyone would be willing to post their weight workouts and exercises I would really appreciate it. I need some new ideas. Also, how does everyone complete the ab portion of the lower body workout? Do you use weights with it or just complete the reps? Thanks for the info!

jearnold
I am on week 5 and am finding I could use a little spark when I get to the gym. I tried an energy drink before going one day last week and it worked really good, I had some nervous energy and could not wait to get to the next set but afterwords I thought I was going to hurl. Any ideas on something...

Losing fat AND muscle?
Nick Rivers
Hi team! I'm a newbie around here, although my first BFL attempt was twelve years ago, I think. Since then, I've spent plenty of time in hospital, and then saw my weight practically double to over 230 lbs (I'm male, 5'8" & 32 years old). But six and a half weeks ago, I...

Lifting Weights - Toning vs Gaining Muscle Question
betty_stewart
I've always been naturually strong for a girl and I have a pretty big build without my added fat weight. I am looking to tone muscle instead of gain, but I'm only on week 2 and lifting large amounts of weight. Do I keep my my weights the same, because I don't think I will hit my 10 if I keep...

Same Exercise?
Sammee
This question if for the BFL veterns. For the duration of BLF, do you do the same exercise every time? For example, on the upper body days for the chest muscle group, do you do dumbbell bench press for the first 5 sets, then dumbbell flye for the last intense set, every time you do an upper body day...
