And not during a workout. I reached for something in my purse (on the passenger seat) and felt a pain. Now it hurts from my collar bone to my pectoral. Can I still work my upper body? I can't afford to lose any time in the gym. Anyone else experienced anything like this? I feel a twinge when I take a deep breath.

I have experienced something similar. I went to the gym and did the best workout I could do under the circumstances. Seeing your doctor is always a good idea. But you can still go to the gym to do what is feasible :o)
