I started my challenge yesterday and am excited for the next 12 weeks! I like the workouts, but one of my favorite things to do for exercise is pilates. I'm wondering if it is ok to add it in (and if so, when?) I don't know if that would be too much for my muscles each week... any thoughts?
Hi there, I am not a champion or anything and some may disagree with me but I have been very sucessful with BFL for about 9 years. Unless Pilates takes your muscels into the fully depledd zone - I think you are ok. Just follow the BFL as it says and don't do too much cardio. Cardio is great but it is couterproductive to muscel growth. Now, if you would like to have a strong but long lean body instead of bulky - do all the cardio you want. I will guarantee you this - if you follow the BFL system and eating method, your body fat will leave you in 12 weeks.
