I have been an avid (more like addicited) spinner for about 2 years. I spin between 5 & 6 times a week ( 1 hour each) w ith an instructor who doesn't belive in taking it nice and easy. It's an intense cardio workout. I started the BFL program 3 weeks ago and have lost about 10 lbs, but body compostion has not changed. Most the time I do my BFL workouts after my spin class. I am somtimes drained afterward but usally OK. I spin and workout in the late afternoon after work. Is this too much cardio to maximize mucle gain and change by body compostion? Do I need to take in more calories to offset the increased cardio? Thanks for the help
I would cut down to 3 days a week if you are wanting muscle gains. I do a spin class every Friday in addition to my approved BFL workouts.
