Music

  • What are your favorite workout tunes?

“For success, attitude is equally as important as ability.” ~Harry f. Banks

  • Everyone should have the "Rocky" Theme by Bill Conti.  There's such an internal response that will push you through the hardest HIIT with that one.

Whether you think you can or you think you can't, you're right ~ Henry Ford

    Michelle Simpson ~2009 Body-for-LIFE Champion 46+ Catagory

  • Just about anything from the Black Eyed Peas. I'm updating my music now too! I also listen to a lot of Korean music although I have NO idea what they're saying! LOL

You can choose the pain of discipline or the pain of regret...

  • I got a mp3 made by a guy on bfltracker.com.  It's only for HIIT.  Breaks it all down to the intervals and allows me to close my eyes and just do it.

10's in exercise and nutrition = 10's in life

  • Personally, I enjoy Toby Mac, Skillet,  or Behind Four Corners but the music where we workout is normally already playing whenever we get there.

  • My 20 min Cardio playlist

    Paralyzer - FInger 11

    I stand Alone - Godsmack

What I've Done - Linkin Park

    Lose Yourself - Eminem

Rocky Theme - Kicks in at the start if min 18. As Champster said, that song will pull you through the hardest last 2 mins of HIIT

For my weight days I just hit shuffle on a folder with about 30-40 songs in it. Lots of heavy stuff Metallica, Godsmack, Korn, Rob Zombie, Ozzy.  Some 70's tunes I enjoy from Zepplin, the Eagles. Some Aerosmith, Chili Peppers, Nickleback, pretty much anything that gets me pumped.

  • I like to lift to Metallica/EXODUS/Slayer

I like to run to EDGUY...

They have a couple of albums that are perfect. Its European Power Metal.

  • I like to listen to Jamiroquai, Of Montreal, James Brown, Chromeo, Beastie Boys, Theivery Corporation, and Royksopp. That's what was on my mp3 player before I misplaced it.

  • OMG Bryan how do you do cardio without an MP3!?!?!

    I swear I'd die.

  • I just listed to the high tempo crap pop music remixes they play at the gym.

  • Wow, the music at my gym is horrible! Every song is worse than the last. So, I've got a Rush playlist that I shuffle through on my phone. Everything from the early 70s to current gives me plenty of tunes. Sometimes I add in some David Bowie, Yes, Black Eyed Peas. I also have Pandora with 2 playlists: Rush and Leftover Salmon

  • Wow Bryan...

    You're a freaking WARRIOR.

  • I listen to DJ Tiesto, Armin Van Buran, and BT
