  • You know - I've actually been suprised with how easy the eating is. When I first finish my meals my brain tries to tell me I should shovel more food, but that quickly goes away when I rember I get to eat again two hours later! I'm on week two and feeling good!

  • dash~cool!  the first two days almost got the better of me!  but day 4 and i feel pretty darn good!  drinking lots of water too!  i feel great too! AND IT'S ONLY 4 DAYS IN!!

  • Week 3 - Down 7 Lbs and feeling great. I worked out a ton before BFL, but could never shake about 20lbs of fat....simply because eating is one of my favorite past times. I'm getting more and more into BFL and for the first time in my constantly dieting life I think i've found something sustainable that truly works. I definitely have some momentum right now and hope to keep this up!.

  • Hey Texans,

Sharon here from Dallas.  On day 3 and feeling really good.  Drinking lots of water too.  Had dinner plans to night from months ago so I will make this my cheat day and stay clean the rest of the week.  I find the eating pretty simple as I work in an office and bring all my food with me.  I spend some time on Sundays preparing.  Its the weekends that I find really challenging. So far work outs on track.  Did lower body today but realized I can go heavier on the weights.

Q: How do you all determine what your "10" is on weight machines?  I'm experimenting with finding the right approach so I can make sure I'm "hitting 10's" as I've read many times on the forums.

Thanks for getting the Texas group communicating!

    Sharon

Make Peace with where you are right now!

  • That's great Dash 7 lb. loss awesome!

Sorry, Sharon, I am not familiar with the weight machines as I work out at home with dumbbells.

As far as the eating, I personally have found that the eating gets easier as I go. It's actually gotten to be pretty much routine and I find that I don't crave the old foods much any more (hope I can continue to say that) so hang in there guys its all gonna be worth the little sacrifices in the end.  WE CAN DO THIS!

  • Hi everyone, I'm in the Houston area as well and will be beginning the challenge tomorrow, 9/20! I'm super excited but also a little nervous because it's been a long time since I've been at the gym and well..you know that feeling. Anyway, anyone in Houston going to the Fitness Connection gym in Greenspoint?
