Does the cardio have to be running? I have a knee injury which makes high impact hard on the knee. I usually do the eliptical, kickboxing class, or a step class. I make sure to do peaks with each of these. Will this be good enough for my cardio on the program?
Absolutely. A lot of people mix up there cardio sessions between running....cycling...elliptical....etc. As long as you can get your heart rate pumping and your working up a good sweat it will work fine. All the best to you on your challenge. I just completed mine this passed Sunday.

Cardio can be whatever you want it to yes eliptical or kickboxing anything to elevate your heart rate and keep it peeking.
Walking is a good for as long as you push the walking into a cardio walk.
