  • Go to "Library" in the menu bar, click on "Training". You will find plenty of articles there. I started just doing the basic exercises with weights. I did curls, bench press, shoulder press, dumb bell rows for upper body. For lower body, I did squats, lunges, and lots of floor exercises.

You need some kind of weights. You will quickly outgrow exercises that use your own body for resistance (such as push-ups, sit ups or leg lifts).

  • Ooops. Go to "Library" in the menu bar, click on "Exercise". Then click on "weight training". You'll find a list of exercises for each muscle group. There is also a cardio section.

  • thiskid_rod, I too just started 2-3 week before. Though I have access to a decent Gym, so few thing are reachable to me. If you want to continue in home then I would suggest go to http://scoobysworkshop.com/ he has tons of tutorial for be beginer like us.

And most of the excercise can be done in home. But atleast if you could afford a dumbell (10lb) that would be gr8.

  • Until you can purchase dumb bells - I read that you can fill gallon water bottles with water - duh...and control the weight by how much water is in them. It will give you some resistance until you find your dumb bells. K-mart, Wal-Mart are cheapest. Don't forget to search yard sales. If you're starting with light resistance - until you get your DBs- you could also use the resistance bands. Best to you!
