Friends in the gym suggest that I should be working abs more frequently than 3 times every 2 weeks.
They suggest every second day.
Is it sufficient to train abs only on lower body work days?
I don't have a six pack as I am still working on reducing my fat, but I will tell you that in the first 12 weeks I went from barely doing crunches on an ab machine with no weight to now doing my 6 rep set with 80lbs. So I know I have built strength and I can feel them more under the fat.
So my question to you would be is are you trying to lose fat or are you thinner trying to gain muscle? I started at 35% body fat and honestly, the program as is is working for me.
