So started my 1st challenge back April 11th (in my 4th week) and am working down from 220lbs. This is my first post in the community but it isnt my first time here - i have been 'gleaning' lots of helpful info for some time now :)
So I am happy with my workout, the cardio etc, but I want to do this 100% effort and cut no corners..... so far i am eating exactly from the food guide and using 3 EAS supplements a day - usually 1 glass of 100% whey protein (choc flavor) after my workout at about 7.30am, 1 myplox bar of some kind for an afternoon snack, and another glass of 100% whey protein (choc flavor) with a banana for an evening snack.
My question is what experience/ideas could you share around ways to improve or my supplement intake - i do take a sports multivitamin and lots and lots and LOTS of water..... but thats it. I have read up on some others like maybe Casein protein for my evening drink to do a slow release protein, but i am also more interested in supplements to help muscle recovery etc. I have looked at EAS reload and betagen etc etc. I am also aware once you take 2/3/4 supplements its hard to distinguish the benefit each individual one is actually having!
So after much waffling I guess any feedback/preferences etc etc around additional supplements outside regular whey and how they help you i would really appreciate. My overall goal is weight loss/build size/strength.
