have any trouble working out in the morning on an empty stomach? I got up and did my HIIT in the morning for the first time. My energy was low and I just about passes out. Then waiting an hour to eat I thought I would die! Does anyone else feel this? I don't have this issue when I do HIIT in the evening. Just curious.
Hi Heather,I work out in mornings...have only had one PM workout...since being on school break, I've been getting up about an hour later to do my workouts; I have found that extra hour has kind of hindered my workouts, more lightheaded with cardio, etc...I think it might have to do with the timing of my last meal.I was eating it at 9:00 so then I wasn't doing a workout til about 7ish the next morning...so that's 10 hrs without food, bad for me...So I'm waiting closer to 10 for last meal then getting up at 6 for workout. I've felt much better.Could this be the case for you? When's your last meal and what time did you work out this morning?

Last meal was at approx 8:00pm. I worked out at 6:00 this morning. I'll give it another try on Thurs but I'll try eating my last meal right before bed on Wed night around 10:00 and see if that helps.
I never worked out int he am on my first challenge. I really do want to this challenge and see if it makes a difference.
Hope that helps adjusting the eating times, I know it did me last week. This week I'm also getting up an hr earlier...I like getting that workout done early!! Let me know if it works for you!
Oh, and you have both protein and carbs for last meal, right?
Yep, last meal is generally cottage cheese and yogurt or a protein shake on days I lift.
