I'm starting my 9th week of Body For Life and feeling great. Lost almost 20 lbs already :)
I have a question about skim milk in protein shakes. Almost every morning, for my 1st meal I have a protein shake after my morning 6:00am workout. I tried using water but it just tastes grouse and makes me want to vomit ;(. So, what I use now is fat free skim milk (I live in Canada, and shop at Superstore and/or Sobeys).
However, I have seen some posts here and on the general web that way a person should ONLY use water. Hence, I am confused?
This seems like a simple yes or no answer. I can see NOT using whole milk or 1%, but skim should be ok right?

Skim milk shouldn't be a problem with your protein shakes. Again, your results speak for themselves. It's working, so don't over-think it!
Skim milk throws off the nutritional value of the shake. It's not your greatest option, though so long as you factor in the macronutrients, should be okay. For instance, it can't be used for Myoplex without making it no longer fit BFL meal standards.
