I find myself eating around 8 small meals a day. Im still staying at around 2000 calories a day but I cant seem to get myself to eat only 6 a day. Its like every 1 1/2 Im hungry. I am still nursing my 15 month old so Im not sure if thats why. Just wanted to see if anyone else was having this problem...or if it is a problem at all? Thanks
Faithfulcatholic, (me too), I'm not sure how frequently your 15 month old is nursing but I assume he/she is also eating solids so your calorie requirement for nursing (though still probably higher than non-lactating women) wouldn't be as high as they tell new moms to get. Sometimes adding some healthy fat to a meal helps keep me satiated longer (like 12 almonds or 1 tablespoon olive oil). Also, increasing water helps. Not sure how long you've been doing the challenge, but if you're new, it takes a week or so to adjust. Hang in there!
Thanks for your response. This is day 7 for me so Im just finishing up week 1 so you are probably right about my body just adjusting. I will try to add more good fats. My little one still nurses about 4 04 5 times a day but does eat solids so Im at that weird phase where Im not sure how many calories I am supposed to be adding? But I am super excited about this challenge and the plan is so easy to follow when will power is added!
4 to 5, not 4 04 5 LOL
