Hi,I started my first BFL challenge today and am just about to head to the store to stock up on some things for the week ahead. I wanted to know if anyone consumes quinoa on their challenge? I do enjoy it (really don't like brown rice), but wonder about whether it's a card, a protein, both. Can i eat it with salmon as a substitute for brown rice for example or is that adding too much additional protein? Comments are welcome!claw34
I do! I love it. Great source of carbs, just be careful with portion size because it's really dense! (1/4 C has nearly as many carbs & calories as 1/2 C of oatmeal).
