I have read some other posts and still didn't quite understand.
Once and for all- I will ask!!!! :)The recipies on the BFL home page- I looked up dinners and got some wonderful ideas that won't totally kill my family- Are they usable or should I pass until my challenge is over??
Ex:
Stuffed Bell Peppers:1 bell pepper, cooking spray, chopped onion, minced garlic, 1/4 c. brown, tomato sauce, 1/4 c. fat free shredded mozzerella, includes a large egg, and ground turkey ot buffalo. Is this safe??

The recipe is fine if you consider on stuffed pepper as a portion. The problem with some of the EFL recipes is the inability to properly enjoy a portion. These peppers shouldn't cause you a bit of worry.

Consider 1 stuffed pepper as a portion... I'm having typing issues this afternoon.
There are a lot of recipes on this site and in the EFL cookbook that are very questionable and others that I would absolutely stay away from as they are not following true BFL principles (at least during the challenge). It is not the easiest to follow exactly what is authorized in the BFL program but with a lot of creativity there are many options and some actually great tasting food.
I am ending my first challenge on Sunday and starting my 2nd challenge on Monday. I am down 37 pounds as of this morning and have seen a lot of change in my body. I contribute this to being strict with what I eat and hitting the workouts hard. I can't wait to see what the next challenge brings!
Good Luck!

I would NOT suggest this.. After your 12 weeks, you really want to take a couple of weeks of 'active rest' To let your body recharge and repair itself.. Trust me.. you will be glad you did it!!! Keep eating right, and you still 'exercise' you just dont go all out. Instead of hitting 9's and 10's.. just do more activities.. play a sport, exercise / weight lift but at a very reduced intensity. You'll probably be surprised at how much change you see during those 2 weeks!! After my first challenge, I lost another 4-5 lbs during active rest!
Kace2, I side with dburg completely. If you don't take the recommended active rest, and if you are really lucky, we will find you here on the forums wondering why you have seen no progress in your second challenge.
Courage isn't lack of fear. It's our ability to carry on despite our fear
