Does anyone know where low-fat ricotta fits in to the eating plan?? I buy mine from the deli so it doesn't have a nutritional breakdown on the container. I was thinking that given it is made from whey curds (as is cottage cheese) it would count as a protein....but don't want to accidentally sabotage my eating plan if it isn't considered a protein source in the same way that low-fat cottage cheese is....
Ricotta doesn't fit in the challenge. I wish it did :)
