Does anyone know of any health benefits of wheat germ? My boyfriend bought a jar and I'm adding to to my smoothies and cereal to put a teeny bit more of fiber and protein (it's really not very much), and also just to get dietary variety. But I'm curious if anyone has any knowledge about this.
From what I understand, wheat germ is an excellent source of protein and vitamins and has some awesome benefits. I don't use it myself, because I never have the time to buy it.... I always forget, plus I'm not sure if it's even authorized. I don't see why it wouldn't be..... but maybe someone can hopefully give us some insight?
