It's not a dumb question at all, and the answer depends on who you ask. My concern about the sauce is a few things... one is that you take out the fiber when you make it into sauce, another is that the nutrients are in the skin, which aren't then in the sauce, and processing whole foods makes them lesser. Maybe the worst part is that there's HFCS, and I swear that stuff is poison.
That being said, though not a good daily option, yeah, why not? The no sugar-added natural kind, only, of course.
