Yogurt is listed on the Food List as a carb... but does anyone know if Fage Greek Yogurt 0% Fat can be eaten as a protein? Or as a complete protein/carb combined serving? It has 23 grams of protein, 9 grams total carbs and 9 grams sugar.
All Greek yogurts are a protein source. It's Yoplait yogurt that's considered a carb source. I absolutley love Fage Greek yogurt and have it every night before bed with a little bit of honey and some fruit (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries) on the side.
Yes on the protein source, though read labels carefully, because they vary drastically with Greek yogurt. Go for highest protein, fewest ingredients.
And please do not add honey, which then makes it not BFL approved.

Can you go with the flavored Greek yogurts? or does it have to be plain?
I would go with the plain Greek Yogurt. Less ingredients and better for you. At least I think so. And if you want to add any condiments, its best to use Walden Farms products. Most of thier stuff have little to no calories. Pretty tasty too.
The flavored ones are sugary, so go with plain. What I would highly suggest is Vietnamese Cinnamon. It's the sweetest of the cinnamons and mixed great with Greek yogurt.
