I have followed the program pretty diligently for the past 4 weeks.
Today marks days number 30 and I've noticed this week I get reallllly hungry in the afternoon which has never been an issue. Has this happened to anyone else who is ahead in the program?
Here is an example of my meal plan:
8:30am: protein shake with fruit
11am: low fat greek yogurt with small apple
1:30pm: chicken breast baked with small sweet potato
(This is when I get HUNGRY)
3:30pm: EAS Carb Control Shake
6:30pm: Chicken meatloaf with roasted brussel sprouts
9:00pm: protein shake
Maybe try switching a shake for actual food. Turkey sandwich or something. You're pretty light in the morning. That's where I would make a change.
I agree with Convo. Also your veggies could be bulked up. Salads, greens, cucumbers....it's so convenient with microwave fresh or frozen bags. You'd be surprised how that helps! I personally thinks 2 shakes instead of food is too much. One good shake is better.....good luck,!,,,
In my opinion, you need to eat more at breakfast. A shake and fruit doesn't seem nearly enough. I have always eaten a big, clean breakfast and it has really helped keep me stable throughout the day. Also, a carb control shake at 3:30 is not enough. Your whole day seems like it would be pretty low in calories. I agree with everyone else in that you should try to limit to 1-2 shakes per day and eat real, whole foods in place. Adding more veggies is an idea, especially at your 1:30 meal to fill you up.
