Should i be eating fruit WITH my meal replacement meals (obviously the fist portion size applies)
I'm not sure about the fruit or vegetable thing (tomatoes are technically fruit for example because of the seeds) but if you are adding fruit to your meal replacement shakes then don't forget to count the carb content of the fruit along with the nutritional content of the meal. Berries have a lower carb content but other fruits can be surprisingly high. It can be very easy to consume far too much for one meal when you add fruit. However, Fruits are definitely authorized, but they are not a free for all like most veggies can be.
