Hello fellow BFLifers!! I'm new to this program and am trying to get my supplies around to begin. When I go onto Amazon.com, I notice there are two different Vanilla Right Light products and I'm not sure which one to get. The price is significantly different. The first item is a vanilla 1.9 oz. serving (12 count box) for $13.99. This product has 22g of protein and 22g of carbs....along with all the other nutrients.
The second product is also the Vanilla right light but it's a 1.4 oz. packet (12 count box) for around $26.00 and has 22g protein and 11 g of carbs. The only difference I really see is the carb count. I'm concerned because this is a huge price difference!! Can anyone help?? Which one should I get??
HIya, SciTeach! Can I guess that you teach Science? I teach English! :D

I haven't used Right Light (I did buy Eating for Life last night, though, so I kinda know what you're talking about, and I commonly use protein drinks & powders as well as meal replacements, So.....)
It seems to me just from what you've posted here that perhaps the first item is a meal replacement (i.e. no need to have any other carbs, just drink up!) while the second product is more of a protein powder to which you would need to add carbs.
For example, I use EAS Protein Powder, and I generally toss in a scoop of oatmeal for healthy carbs, add some ice, water (of course), blend it up, and "nurse" my protein drink while everyone else in the Teacher's Lounge stares at me over their warmed-up leftovers.
Why the first is more than the second, I have no idea - are you sure they're both in packets? I might look into it and see if I can tell a difference. Meanwhile, with all of the knowledgeable people here, I'm sure someone will come along who knows a better answer!!
Keep the faith!

Right Light products are recommended for the www.Transformation.com challenge. They are not EAS/ABBOTT and will not count towards your purchase to officially enter the Body-for-LIFE challenge.

That being said, I'd go with the first choice that has even carbs/protein.
