WPBill...I think it is fine. If what amounts to a few tablespoons of milk is going to crash our progress we are doing something very wrong - LOL! Honestly I can't stand the taste of non-dairy powdered creamer anyway. I enjoy every sip of my morning coffee with milk! ;-)
I usually have a cup of coffee in the am...and add a splenda and a little vanilla soy milk. I figure it's a good compromise since I usually like the fat free vanilla creamer. Baby steps, right?
Now if I could only find a substitute for my evening wine.
I just finished reading "Champions Body for Life". Here are 2 interesting facts that it states about coffee:
1. Women who drank 3 or more cups of coffee each day were 30 percent less likely to have a decline in memory than women who had just one cup of coffee a day or less. But don't go overboard on the caffeine--experts recommend sticking with no more than four 8-ounce cups a day.
2. Cheryl Rasmussen, Grand Champion, stated "I add vanilla cream Myoplex RTD to my coffee instead of store-bought creamers."
So, I say, if you like coffee, drink up the benefits!!!
Bryan L, what kind of non dairy creamer do you use? Do you use the powder kind? I used to use coffee mate powder and sometimes the liquid, but I lalways thought that wasn't good for us.
Runnermom, the vanilla RTD Myoplex sounds like a great idea. I'm going to try that. Then I'll get my coffee and some protein.
