I'm 55 and in c1w4 and started with 25% body fat. I've read the success stories of several winners and see people loosing as much as 40 lbs in 12 weeks. I'm doing the weight training as recommended, but my cardio varies considerably. The question that I have is related to calories required...

Is it possible to eat too many vegetables?
This may be the dumbest question ever asked on bfl, but is there a negative side effect to eating too many vegetables? I ask because the diet is pretty specific and it only calls for vegetables with 2 of our 6 meals. I've read that too much protein can be bad for your liver, and a waste of money...

I'm so very confused on one thing that i think is preventing my training. I heard that everyone has a calorie intake. To gain muscle I need to get about 500 calories ABOVE that. This makes me extremely skeptical. How will this not make me fat? Granted I do train about 4 days a week and do cardio...

Results of my first Challenge - Not what I expected
Well I finally finished my first challenge. I am thrilled that I made it through the entire thing but I was very bummed out as I neared the end ad began to realize that I was still hanging on to quite a lot of body fat. I gained a lot of muscle and I DID lose some inches so I know the program works....
