3 hours before cardio. I think it's only an hour before weights. I can't seem to confirm that in the book though. I usually wait 2 hours to do weights and 3 for cardio.
If you eat, then wait 3 hours, then do 20 min HIIT, then wait the recommended 1 hour to eat after cardio, it would be almost 4 and a half hours between meals.
I thought they had changed it to 1.5-2 hours after a meal before HIIT, then wait the 1 hour after cardio to eat, making it 3-3.5 hours between those meals. But....I can't remember for sure.
Hopefully, someone with more certainty than me will chime in!!
Okay, in the FAQ's section of the library, it states that if your goal is fat loss and muscle gain, to wait at least an hour before cardio, then wait one hour after cardio for your next meal.
