Hasam, lets get one thing straight..this WAS NOT easy. I wanted it soooo bad, so I worked my ass off to get there. The first week on pgrm I cried several times, I didnt know if I was doing things right, my body was in terrible shape and every work out hurt. I was a wreck, but I pushed through it all.
I had weeks were my eating wasn't perfect, weeks were the scaled didnt budge and I thought I would quit, but I just kept going, even if I wasn't perfect. The same goes for me today. I just keep going I had a great LBWO last night , and I havent worked out in a week due to a major cold..The last 2 weeks of BFL I tore muscles in my shoulder which are still throbbing all the time ( going to DR to get x-rays and prob physical therapy) I just keep going! THis is my life I am not falling back into the person I was full of reason why I can't do something.
Thank you Hasam for asking this question! I needed a look inside me ;)
I want to say a special thank you to you and Hasam for the conversation you just had. Sometimes I have felt that it was "easy" for some people and then thought "why is it so hard for me?". When you see the results people have and they are so excited and only have positive things to say and they sound as if they never struggled or never messed up - it can be a bit depressing. The results they have are inspirational, but still a little depressing if you yourself are struggling. April - I loved your response. It really put it into perspective for me. Just because a person is excited and positive and has had amazing, enviable results such as yours, does not mean that they too have not struggled. I really appreciate both of you for helping me out of a tough spot this week.
For sure Nancyjod...I remember thinking that too why does everyone just seem born to do this? I think that when you get to the end of the 12 weeks all the bad days, and moments just seem to not matter much anymore, so those stories don't get shared. Glad this thread helped you through your day! Make it count.
