Thanks for the support!
On my profile is a link to the bfl tracker with my photos and progress log. I didn't quite reach my goals but got really close. Taking two weeks off and then starting C2 Jan. 3!
Way to go! You look great. I bet you are now so glad you didn't give up in week 11! Congrats!

Thanks everyone-I keep trying to post and my computer crashes so I'm going to try one last time...
A big THANK YOU! to everyone who has commented here but a super-special thanks to BDMom, Orrin, LDPower, Lori and Bon Witty for really helping through those tough times. I knew I wasn't going to give up but I did have some setback and plateus.
ayummymommy-You've really been helpful to me too. I hear myself in you so much! Hang in there---it's working even when you think it isn't....Here is a typical meal plan for me.
Meal 1-Plain oatmeal with scoop Lite Protein powder, cup of coffee or tea with stevia
Meal 2-Cliff Builder Bar
Meal 3-3 egg whites scrambled with veggies and brown rice, served with fresh salsa
Meal 4-Greek yogurt (0 or 2%) with a piece of fruit
Meal 5-Myoplex Lite shake
Meal 6-Grilled chicken *** with a spicy no-salt rub, steamed or sauteed veggies made with a little olive oil spray and water, portion of quinoa
I have to say that in my experience, you really have to be willing to experiment and adjust your food until you find what is right and what works. I didn't count calories but used the palm/fist portion rule.
AMAZING!! Thanks. And you don't even know how much your transformation and Lori's inspires me. I will not give up- this is a way of life for me, I just am eager to see the results everyone speaks of in the 8-12 weeks.
Thanks so much for the meal plan. I like to see what people who are successful are doing/have done!!
Superb job again!!
ayummymommy-that's definitely the right attitude- that this is a lifestyle. Doing this for 12 weeks certainly helps it register how good you feel when you take care of yourself. And I find the human body to just be an amazing machine in general. I was never an athlete growing up and always kind of chubby for my height so watching myself change like this is so new and exciting.
I will tell you one thing about banking on the last 4 weeks--be careful about what expectations you create. I read that "8 Week Miracle" doc almost every day in weeks 4-6 when I really felt like nothing was happening. And yes, I saw results in my last two weeks but no change in my scale weight at all. If I got fixated on that number, I would have freaked! And somewhere in the corner of my mind I know that I was convinced I was going to be Cindy Crawford on day 84...LOL..Just remember that everyone's body has it's own pace. I'm very happy with the results I got in this first challenge but realize that I have to keep going to get where I want to be. And once I get there-I'll have to maintain. You seem really earnest and dedicated so there is no doubt in my mind you can achieve all you've set out to. I just wanted to put in my two cents regarding expectations. I struggled with that a lot and would hate to see you downplay the great progress I'm sure you will make. Keep up the good work! You will feel so great when you are done!
Thanks Junibird! and you are so right. I really do have high hopes for weeks 8-12 BUT I will not focus on the scale. I know I am doing things "by the book" so if I am seeing changes in the mirror etc. right now honestly that is what matters to me. Healthy, lean body, but more importantly for me a healthy mind. I want to stop the guilty feelings I have over eating certain types of foods. The body will come naturally thereafter (I believe that at least). A healthy mind IS a healthy body.
