I haven't been here in a while....everything has changed on this site since my last visit, but I like it.
My personal journey started last January when I had enough of being tired all the time and wearing size 14 pants. I also was ready to quit smoking. So I did it! Cold turkey. I through away the smokes and started walking. Once my fitness level improved a little bit, I decided to challenge myself through the Body for Life program. In the last year, I have lost 70 pounds and went from 35.8% body fat to 21%.
Next year, I plan to add some more muscle and get my body fat down even more. This program has given me a new life. I hope others that feel desparate (as desparate as I was) find my story inspirational.

You should be so proud of yourself. Quitting smoking is tough in itself, as well as losing weight. You have truly embraced a healthy lifestyle and have most likely added many more years to your life! Congratulations on your success!
