I did it! Day 84...with pics =)

  • Emma~ I'm glad I could inspire you!!!  Another thing I did is when I had a craving I would write it down on a list so that I was sure to indulge on Sunday.  That way it was "out of my system" so to speak. =)  WTG on getting 1/3 done!

geog~ Yes it is such a great feeling to be able to pass the feeling on and help others!  Thank you!  Still need to go shopping. =)  Have a trip to Vegas scheduled in 20 days...going to compete in bikini!  Who woulda thought?!  My original plan was to wait until November (still going to do that one), but thought "what the heck"...carpe diem!

Wyobean~ Having a frequent support system is a great thing!!!  Surely helps a ton.  Glad you stopped by the thread as your first glimpse of what BFL can do!!!  Thank you!

Aimee~ Thanks girl!  I didn't have a trainer.  I actually copied Bill's exact sample workout straight from the book (but modified weight used, of course!).  For abs...gosh I'm a bit embarrassed.  I would sometimes do them...I would do russian sit-ups holding a medicine ball (2 sets of 15), and the sitting oblique machine for 2 sets of 12 @ 60lbs.  I bet I missed half of the ab workouts though.  Sometimes I would be running late getting to the gym, and just tell myself I'd do them when I got home, then forget.  My last two weeks I only got abs in once.  :/  But the heavy lifting & running (I chose to run for hiit) stabalizes the core so that is some work in itself.  My abs would shake when I did my seated overhead tricep extensions w/ 40lbs!  All the best to you on your journey!

  • Thanks for the kind words you bodacious woman you. It's been fun sharing the challenge with you.

Will think of you when you're strutting your stuff in Vegas. Good for you. I'm sure you'll let us all know how you do.?

I ate a little crazy too during AR and thankfully did not gain anything. Big whoopeeeee !

I started my 2nd Challenge Friday and so far it's been well, a challenge. Got bumped from our flight from Denver last night. Stayed at a hotel and after 5 hrs of sleep went to the gym for a LBWO. Now we're stuck at McGuire AFB in NJ until maybe Monday. Will run around  tomorrow for cardio. Sleeping on the couch at the terminal tonight as there are no rooms at the hotel on base. Eating CLEAN.  . This is the start of 7 weeks of constant travel.  Body For Life is now MY way of life so, NO EXCUSES.

    Again, GOOD LUCK in Vegas.

Sharon WW. Great to see you started another challenge. Will lurk from time to time. You look AMAZING. What an inspiration.

  • @Mica-thanks for responding back:)  I think you might just be the next champ seriously!!!  You made an incredible transformation!  Give em a run for their money girl!:) Aimee

  • WOW! That is all a can say after seeing your photos. You ahould be so proud of yourself ....you look like you belong on the cover of a magazine!!!

I started the BFL on Sept.3. I only hope to have as awesome results

    Congrats!!!!

  • Wonderful inspiration!  I am on week 3, definitely feel stronger...but not sore.  Crazy work schedule is not allowing for full eating discipline, but at least have tools to make better or at least informed choices.  Thanks so much for sharing and for responding to everyone!!  I never thought I was "that bad" until I took my photos! What an eye opener.  Thanks again, shows that it can be done!

  • OMG!  YOU are my inspiration!  I am blown away by your results.  I almost feel discouraged, like how can I do THAT???  But I know you are living proof that it can be done and that you are posting here not only for the recognition that you so rightfully deserve, but also to help encourage and inspire the rest of us.  Thank you for posting.  Absolutely amazing!  Just beautiful!

  • WOW!!! you look amazing.

  • WOW!

Awesome job and Congrats!  Am starting mine tomorrow.   Hope my transformation is half of what yours is and I will be a winner!

  • Jules~ How's C2 going?!  Thank you for the good luck!  I'm gonna need it.  Everyone has to start somewhere...it's a big show, 200+ enter.  Then they drop down to top 16 (6 which were already pre-selected online), so really 10 spots to fill.  YIPES!  Less than 2 weeks...Vegas will be fun regardless!

    Aimee~ Thanks again ;)

Patty~ You have it within yourself!  If I can do it, you can too!

Jacibv~ Planning is key!  You must precook many meals, package them up, store them, grab and go!  I became really good at this in time.  Did tons on Sunday.  I'm a Mom, PT childcare attendant, and PT Masseuse...running all over all the time.  Stash myoplex bars in the car, laptop case, wherever you are.  Diet is 80%!  I always got in my 6 meals...only once I got in only 5.  Just plan & you'll be good!  I didn't realize (nor did my hubby) I looked like my "befores" either!  YIKES!

Nancy~ There is no magic...just follow the plan & you can look like that!  I had a friend finish the challenege and I thought there was no way I could look like her/that either...but guess what, it works!  You'll do it, just don't listen to the little man on your shoulder telling you no.  Turn to the other pushing you to keep going!

    Kerry~ Thank you!!

James~ Starting is always hardest...you can do it!  Thanks =)

  • Great job! I have to say you are my inspiration as well. I started 9/3/2010 and just took my first cheat day yesterday. But I still worked out on my cheat day. I did not want to feel bad for eating bad food! I am looking to lose 20lbs max. Looking at your progress makes me feel great and that I can do this as well.

  • Giggles~ Noooooooo!!!  Don't workout anymore on your free day!  It's more important to rest!!!  Even if you ate 100% clean 6 meals on your free day, cheating and not working out if more beneficial.  Your body needs rest to change or else you're in for overtraining, injury & burn out!  Please, please do it "by the book" and rest on your free day.  If you must, go for a nice leisurely walk.  I personally sat on my butt all day and pigged out.  Don't feel bad for eating those foods, it's built into the program...I had to keep telling myself that.  Too good to be true?  Obviously not!  Trying to do "extra" things to speed things up with just set things back.  You can do it, just do it smart & by the book!

I'm glad to have inspired you.

  • OMG!  I am just starting my Week 6, feeling a bit tired of it all, but have lost 11 lbs.... your FABULOUS transformation gives me the strength to push on!  Wow, you go girl!  Give yourself a big pat on the back, and thanks for sharing!

  • WOW you look amazing. Congrats!

  • Congrats on the amazing progress.

  • Wow, you are amazing! Great job and I sure hope to be able to inspire others as much as you have! You look great girl :))
