This is my first BFL challenge, and I plan to kill it. I'm pumped, have the meal plans ready, and have been training on the exercises for about 4 weeks, so my body is at least conditioned to start the challenge at full speed! 205lbs, and ready to count down, and get ripped!!
PS. I would love any feedback, questions, or advice as I get started, but I assure you all, I am motivated, and will probably post pics, week to week, or at least biweekly.
Vegas Dave--I know we can do this, and together we are so much stronger. We have the power!!
Love the enthusiasm Vegas Dave!!! My best advice is to PLAN PLAN PLAN and visit this forum daily...there are so many people who are willing to share and help.
Oh and get some sleep! 1:33 a.m. LOL!! =)
All my best for your challenge!
DebMO :0) Blessed to be a Blessing...
lol, thanks Debbie. I am pumped and hitting it hard, and my dayminder is my best friend. Sprained my middle finger sunday so the workout was hard to complete yesterday, but killed it today. I am keeping track of everything. I am on track, and surprised at how easy it is to keep the diet part of it. I hope everyone has tons of success. I feel great. To be honest, I kind of pre-trained for this for about 4 weeks, so its not like I'm starting at day 1. This is just when I am starting my official day 1. Thanks for your support.
Day 3 and I have already lost 4 lbs. Probably mostly water weight, but I'll take it. I am loving the workouts, and I have tons of energy. Though I sprained my finger Sunday, I have still managed to make all the right muscle groups sore, and not miss any workouts. I can't wait to see how these 12 weeks go, for me, as well as others that started on the 28th. Lets all make the most out of every day.
I can't seem to stay below 200 lbs. 201.2 today, but I am noticing significant increases in my strength at the gym, so I just hope they are muscle gains. I weigh frequently for fun, because I'm not so concerned about the number on the scale. To me, its just a number, and I take my measurements frequently to see what tweaks really work for me. Threw in some extra non HIIT cardio....basketball, and medium intensity elliptical, but that's just because I feel so good and have so much energy.
Made it through week 2, and I have more momentum than ever. Was 198.2 when I weighed myself this morning, so even my free day yesterday must not have done too much damage. I am LOVING the weights/resistance days, but as far as the cardio days...well, I just get through them. I do love the healthy eating and the frequent eating. I have so much energy that I never had. I play basketball with the boys, racquetball again, and enjoy a frequent hike. Can't wait to see how far I can come in 12 weeks.
Posted a progress pic in my profile, feel free to check it out. Can already see some results, so that is very encouraging. I'm loving it. That's all I can say. I haven't been in shape really in almost 10 years, and I know when I complete this I will probably be in the best shape of my life.
posted an updated pic today. Down 15 lbs so far and loving it!!
I see abs, pecs and obliques!!! AWESOME WORK MY FRIEND!!!
