Coming from my 16 yr old daughter, I thought this was newsworthy, threadworthy, whatever...Thanks to Renee (love ya!) I have some new smaller pants. Well today was our last day of school so we had an awards assembly and closing chapel so I decided to dress up. For those who don't "know" me, I teach PE so I'm always in shorts or sweats...
Today I decide to put on one of the "new" pants...Black...Size 10!!!!!!!! They fit!! Holy Smokes! So I come out of my bedroom all spiffied up, daughter took a double take and said, "Oh my gosh, Mom! You're skinny" She just kept going on and on. Made me feel GREAT!
Get to school, go through assembly, mingling around and I swear probably 20 people asked me what I'm doing to lose so much weight! Of course I tell them Body for Life! I'm on C2W8 and down at least 30 lbs. (I weigh and measure on Sunday, going to post wk 8 pics on T.com, maybe here), but I'm in a SIZE 10! No Way!! I started my first challenge right before Christmas and was in a tight 18!
Get home and my daughter is still amazed!! Her friend was over and Kelcee said, "Mom, stand up and show her how skinny you are!" :-) I still have 4 wks of this challenge left and I can't wait til I see what else happens!!So I don't care what the silly scale says, I care about what size I fit in to!!
First pic is my son and I on vacation last summer (mid June), 2nd is Today (5/21/10) in my Size 10's!! :-)
DebMO :0) Blessed to be a Blessing...

DebbieMo - you look awesome!!
Congrats! You only have 4 more weeks to go. You look incredible!!
It is so nice when our kids notice that we are slimming down, like when my 16 year old son said, "Mom, I can see your triceps!"
Enjoy the weekend!
Debbie, thanks so much for sharing your victory! It is very inspiring to see your success.
That is too cool! When a teenager compliments anything it's a HUGE deal! Congrats!
Okay...gotta bump this thread because of how AWESOME my two TEENAGE daughters made me feel today!
13-yr old comes to give me a hug, wraps her arms around my waist and says, "MOM! Where did you go? I can reach my elbows now!!"
16 yr old in Dr.'s office this morning says, "Mom, you wanna see my abs?(She's been working out for volleyball" Sure...She shows me...Do you see them? "Ya, wanna see mine?!" So I get up stand by her (note that the Dr. is NOT in the room lol!!) and show her mine.. cause they are gradually starting to peek out. She's like, "Mom, your stomach is gone!" We tried to make some sort of 6,4,2 pk pop...you had to be there, it was hilarious!! Then a bit later she said, "When I'm your age (42) I wanna be like you..." then we started comparing muscle lines!! What a memorable experience...
OH MY GOODNESS!! Do you know how appreciative of my girls I am today and everyday!! I'm on top of the world and I ain't done with this body yet!!! WOOHOO!!
Just thought I would share yet another success to keep some of you out there plugging away!! Work it, People!!! =)
