Does anyone else besides me think that digital scales are inaccurate? I weighed in at 268.4lbs on a digital scale one day one of my challenge, Last week I weight myself on a regular scale, and weighed about 262.5 Now I've been following the program, eating right, and exercising more intense than ever, and my body has definately changed for the better. I'm starting to think that my "true weight" was more than 268.4. Does else think that digital scales are not reliable?
No they're not reliable. I bought a health o meter manual scale on ebay new for about 120.00. It is the same kind you find in doctors offices and gyms. You can zero them out by adjusting a screw and then place a weight on them to make sure they are accurate. As long as you periodically recheck them they should stay that way. Digital scales can very by ounces or even pounds. This can be because of the surface they're on, the maker, or simply the battery getting low.
