Week 8 - Miracle of all Miracles

  • So Week 8 ends tomorrow for me and I'm feeling fitter and managed to push through all of my workouts and stick to my nutrition plan this week despite a cold, kids with ear infections and strep throat and having my car totaled by a drunk driver (I wasn't in it), while going through a short sale.  So that may not sound like much, but in the past, that would be an excuse for some really bad meals and more than a few glasses of wine.  And here is the real miracle... I had to ask the sales lady in the GAP to go get me a size 2 b/c the 4 was too big!  I've never even been a size 4 before BFL!  I thought "I just didn't have that kind of body" because I had bigger hips and a butt.  This has proven that no matter what you thought was possible before, you CAN and will meet your goals.  I have 4 weeks left and I will continue to push, but for this moment, I will enjoy the success (and maybe accidentally leave my size tag on the outside of my pants when I go to dinner).  :)

  • Congratulations! You must be so proud! I bet it feels great to wear that size. My goal is to wear a size 4 at 12 weeks and I too have never been that small, not there yet, but will be.

  • runninggrl-sounds like you had a rough week, glad you are okay! BUT, WOW a size 2! That is Awesome and must make you feel on top of the world...you have 4 weeks left-the best is yet to come! Work it hard girl! :)
